In primary 1G we have a big focus on learning through play. The children love being able to practice the skills they have learnt in different areas both in the classroom and out in the shared atrium. So far we have explored lots of different contexts such as the doctor’s surgery, the bus station and life on the moon. All the children in primary 1G are so enthusiastic about learning and if you visited our classroom you would see all of the children busy in our different areas. We also enjoy lots of singing and dancing which helps us to remember our jolly phonics songs and numbers.

Primary 1 also venture out on our Wednesday Wander every week, We are always out and about in the community exploring where we live. Look carefully and you might spot our eye-catching green jumpers next time you are in the area!
